A$AP Rocky later clarified in an interview with Jason Lee that the object seen in the viral footage was actually a microphone pack, not underwear. Rocky noted that he chose to capitalize on the viral moment by launching his own line of thongs, which sold out on the first night. Rocky commented on the situation, stating, “I be laughing. So I can’t get mad when the joke is on me,” and noted that Boosie had “bugged out” over the misunderstanding.
