Bootshaus restaurant in Mainz to be acquired by cuisyn

Frank Buchholz will transfer ownership of the Bootshaus restaurant in Mainz to the gastronomy group cuisyn, effective September 1, 2026. Buchholz, who co-founded the establishment in 2011, stated that after 15 years, he feels ready to let go after achieving his goals.

To ensure continuity, the restaurant's operational leadership will remain with existing staff. Lucas Kriesel, who has served as chef de cuisine since April 2025, will continue to lead the kitchen, while Slim Ennakhla will take over as operations manager on the handover date. Cuisyn's managing director, Markus Langkamm, emphasized the importance of maintaining the team and the high culinary quality of the Rhine-side location.
