BOPOC Holdings profits triple to €1.17m amid POCO brand expansion
BOPOC Holdings Ltd, the group behind beauty entrepreneur Pippa O’Connor Ormond’s POCO brand, reported a significant financial turnaround. Newly filed accounts reveal that pre-tax profits tripled to €1.17 million for the 12 months ending October last year, up from €390,050 in the previous period.
This growth was supported by a 117% increase in revenues, which rose from €3.57 million to €7.75 million. Operating profit saw an even sharper increase, climbing to €1.62 million compared to €102,612 in 2024. However, interest payments of €452,548 impacted the final pre-tax figure.
The results follow several years of financial challenges, including operating losses in 2022 and 2023. The group has since restructured, including offloading a 55% stake in UP Cosmetics in early 2023.
Following these results, the company is continuing its expansion, including the launch of POCO Beauty in Selfridges in the UK at the end of July. Directors Pippa O’Connor Ormond and Brian Ormond stated that the financial position and results were in line with expectations and that the company forecasts further profit this year.
