A total of 48 teams, each consisting of one observer and one sniper, are competing. The competition aims to increase awareness of the importance of sniping, establish a professional culture in the field, and facilitate the sharing of experiences gained during counter-terrorism operations. Shooting stages include perception, hostage, pistol, graduated distance, night, different caliber, scenario, and infiltration drills.
On October 16, designated as ‘Elite Observer Day’, the event will feature scenario and demonstration shooting, as well as ‘Steel Wings’ and ‘Grape Cluster’ displays. The Gendarmerie Commando Special Public Order Command will also perform helicopter-based shooting and parachute jumps. Additionally, 44 companies will exhibit weapons, vehicles, and equipment from October 14 to 17.
