Borbón community mourns teacher Mónica Tello following suspected homicide

The community of Borbón, in the Esmeraldas province, held a funeral procession for Mónica Elizabeth Tello, a teacher who was found dead in her home in the Torres Gemelas sector.

Local reports indicate that Tello’s former partner is the suspected perpetrator of the homicide. Following the incident, the suspect reportedly fled the scene and took two of the victim's children. The community gathered to honor the educator, who was described by acquaintances as a kind and dedicated teacher for primary school students.
