Border traffic disruptions affect Bulgaria and Moldova‑Romania

In Bulgaria, traffic at most border control points remains normal, but the Kapitan Andreevo crossing with Turkey is experiencing intense light‑vehicle flow. Ferry services on the Danube at the Oriahovo–Becet and Svishov–Zimnich points have been suspended because of low water levels, with the Svishov–Zimnich service halted indefinitely.

In Moldova, the Giurgiulești–Galați crossing with Romania is seeing longer waiting times after an electricity‑supply failure. Authorities are implementing extra measures to smooth traffic and are urging drivers to use alternative border points.
