Borderland Mid-Autumn Festival held in Thanh Hóa

The Border Guard Command organized the 2026 “Borderland - Mid-Autumn Festival” program in Mường Lát commune, Thanh Hóa province. The event aimed to provide children in border areas with a festive celebration and encourage them to overcome local hardships.

Deputy Prime Minister Lê Tiến Châu attended the ceremony alongside high-ranking officials from the Ministry of National Defence and the Border Guard Command. Local leaders from Thanh Hóa province were also present to support the initiative, which is held annually across various border provinces to support ethnic minority communities and students in remote mountainous regions.
