Borderlands 4 Pack 4 DLC released with new story and loot

Gearbox Software and publisher 2K launched version 1.9 of Borderlands 4, adding the Pack 4 “Murders and Acquisitions” expansion. The DLC introduces a new repeatable mission set in the Toxic Scowl canyon, new boss encounters, three mini‑bosses, a unique Perlescent weapon and six legendary gear pieces. It also includes Cryptex Card 4, which grants 24 cosmetic items and four rewind‑able equipment pieces.

The update notes that Pack 4 is sold as two separate parts – the narrative expansion and the Cryptex card – and previews upcoming content. On 10 September, the game will receive version 1.10, bringing Story Pack 2 focused on the legendary beastmaster FL4K and the new playable Hunter Loveless the Hacker, as well as the forthcoming Pack 5.
