Borderlands 4 reveals new playable character Loveless

Gearbox Software and 2K have revealed Loveless, a new playable Vault Hunter for Borderlands 4. Scheduled for release as a paid DLC on September 10, the character features a unique gameplay style that blends biological and digital elements.

Loveless is a former Anshin hacker turned assassin whose consciousness is shared with a self-developed digital virus named Wyrm. This virus can digistruct into a physical form to assist her in combat. Her gameplay mechanics include high-speed combat focused on critical hits, status effects, and corrosive or radiation damage.

Her skill sets include the ability to throw Plague Star Shurikens to spread infection, cloning herself, and turning invisible. The character launch coincides with the release of Version 1.10, which will include balance adjustments and an increase to the maximum level cap.
