Borders General Hospital charity golf day raises £8,000

A charity golf day held at the Schloss Roxburghe Golf Course and Hotel has raised more than £8,000 for Borders General Hospital. The funds are designated to purchase two VeinSight devices.

Senior charge nurse Jennifer White noted that the devices assist medical staff in locating veins more easily, which can reduce patient anxiety and prevent delays in treatment and investigations. The event, now in its eighth year, has raised a total of more than £40,000 for the hospital over its duration.
