Borger Cranes celebrates delivery of 100th Hino truck
Borger Cranes has reached a milestone by taking delivery of its 100th Hino truck. The vehicle, a Hino 700 Series SS 2848 prime mover, will be used to transport auxiliary equipment, such as crane counterweights.
The truck features a unique Indigenous art livery to honor the company’s heritage. Shawn Borger, General Manager of Borger Crane Hire, noted that the company is a large Indigenous-owned family business and wanted to celebrate that history on this milestone vehicle.
A celebration was held at the Borger Cranes premises in Glendenning, New South Wales, attended by staff, customers, and representatives from Hino Australia and City Hino. Hino Australia President and CEO Richard Emery attended the event and presented a commemorative plaque to mark the occasion.
Borger Cranes employs over 1,100 people and operates a fleet consisting of 320 cranes and more than 270 vehicles. The company utilizes various Hino models, including 300 Series light-duty, 500 Series medium-duty, and 700 Series heavy-duty trucks, for projects in infrastructure, civil construction, and renewable energy.
