Borgo Santa Maria della Tomba and Gruppo Storico I Farnese sign twinning pact

The Borgo Santa Maria della Tomba of Sulmona and the Gruppo Storico I Farnese of Ortona have officially signed a twinning agreement to foster institutional and associative collaboration. The agreement, signed on August 9, 2026, aims to preserve and promote ancient traditions, specifically the art of flag handling and musical performances.

The partnership follows a long-standing friendship between the two groups. Leaders Angelo La Civita of Borgo Santa Maria della Tomba and Roberta Nenna of Gruppo Storico I Farnese noted that the collaboration will serve as a foundation for future joint cultural initiatives intended for both national and international audiences.
