Borgo Valbelluna allocates funds for schools and infrastructure

The municipality of Borgo Valbelluna has announced financial commitments to support local education and infrastructure. For the 2026/2027 school year, the administration has allocated over 85,000 euros to the Mel and Trichiana Comprehensive Institutes. These funds are designated for school operations, expanding educational offerings, transportation for field trips, and pre-school reception and supervision services.

Additionally, the municipal government has approved a technical and financial feasibility plan for the redevelopment of the Don Bosco school in Ponte a Elsa. Scheduled to begin in 2027, the project is estimated to cost 1.2 million euros. The works will focus on seismic improvements and roof replacement to transform the building, which has been out of use since 2025, into a new nursery school. This initiative aims to create a local educational hub for children aged 4 to 11.
