Borgomanero inaugurates new social inclusion and housing facilities

New social inclusion facilities have been inaugurated in Borgomanero to support adults facing material deprivation and social marginalization. The initiative includes two primary projects: ‘Housing First’ and ‘Stazione di Posta’.

‘Housing First’ provides two residential units for up to three people for a maximum of 18 months. ‘Stazione di Posta’ serves as a service center for immediate assistance, offering hot meals, showers, laundry facilities, and job training workshops. It also includes two emergency beds and houses the Labor Insertion Service office.

The project was funded primarily through 531,144 euros from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), supplemented by 158,000 euros from the Municipality of Borgomanero. The facilities are expected to be fully operational by the end of September.
