Boris Becker to guest at OWL-Sportstudio and criticizes commentator

Former tennis champion Boris Becker is scheduled to appear as a guest at the 23rd OWL-Sportstudio in Detmold on May 5, 2027. Organized by media professional Mario Brink, the event features the six-time Grand Slam winner in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region.

Separately, Becker expressed dissatisfaction with ZDF commentator Oliver Schmidt on social media while watching a German national football match against Serbia. Using the platform X, Becker criticized the commentator's style, stating that he “hears himself talk too much” and suggesting that images can sometimes say more than words.
