Boris Brejcha concert canceled at Parque Papa Francisco

The Loures City Council and promoter Desert Rain have jointly decided to cancel the Boris Brejcha concert scheduled for this coming Sunday at Parque Papa Francisco in Lisbon. The municipality stated that the cancellation follows “non-civic behaviors recorded after the last concert.”

Local authorities emphasized that the safety of participants and surrounding residents is a priority, aiming to ensure that future events at the park are compatible with local mobility and quality of life. The decision follows criticism from the CDU Loures, which had demanded an immediate suspension of events at the site. The political group cited safety concerns for the public and users of the EN10 road, noting previous chaos during a David Guetta concert in August where crowds accumulated on viaducts and near the Northern Line.
