Boris Mugoša calls for parliamentary hearing on disability employment funds

Boris Mugoša, a Member of Parliament for the European Alliance, has called for urgent action regarding the employment and support of persons with disabilities (OSI) following reports that the Fund has exhausted its budget. Mugoša criticized the lack of response from authorities, noting that despite promises of reform, budget funds intended for the entire year are often depleted by mid-year.

Mugoša stated that he has previously warned the Ministry of Finance about insufficient budgeting and initiated parliamentary resolutions to compel the government to reallocate funds from unproductive expenditures. To address the ongoing issue, he has initiated a parliamentary hearing involving the relevant minister and the director of the Health Insurance Fund, which is expected to take place in September.
