Boris Trajkovski Sports Center renamed T Arena in Skopje

The large sports hall at the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center in Skopje has been renamed “T Arena” after a partnership agreement with Macedonian Telecom. The venue now displays the telecom’s magenta “T” branding both inside and outside. The rebranding aims to attract future sports, cultural and entertainment events and improve facility conditions. An opening ceremony is planned for 2 September, timed to coincide with celebrations of North Macedonia’s 35th independence anniversary. Director Daniell Apostolloski noted that the partnership will bring long‑term benefits, while Macedonian Telecom executive Goran Marković highlighted the company’s 25‑year role in connecting citizens. The centre also includes a smaller hall, a skating rink, a pool and an aqua‑park, the latter expected to reopen next year after roof damage from recent storms.
