Borislav Miodanić, war prisoner and witness, dies at 68

Borislav Miodanić has passed away at the age of 68. A resident of Derventa, Miodanić was a survivor of the 1992 war conflicts, having been captured in the Čardak settlement on April 24, 1992.

Miodanić spent nearly three months in the Rabić camp in Derventa, where he reported being subjected to severe physical and psychological abuse and torture. He was eventually exchanged in July 1992 in Davor, Croatia.

Shortly before his death, Miodanić provided testimony to American investigators visiting Derventa to document the experiences and suffering of Serbian victims during the war. He remained vocal about his wartime experiences throughout his life.
