Borivali emerges as Mumbai commercial hub amid real estate expansion
Borivali is emerging as a significant commercial frontier in Mumbai’s Western Suburbs, driven by infrastructure improvements and a decentralization of business activity. As established hubs like the Bandra-Kurla Complex and Andheri face rising rentals, companies are seeking operational efficiency and proximity to talent pools in emerging micro-markets. Borivali’s position as a major transport hub on the Western Railway network and the Western Express Highway is a primary catalyst for this growth.
In line with these shifting urban corridors, Mayfair Housing has announced the expansion of its development portfolio within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). The company plans to launch four upcoming projects over the next two to three months, spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. These projects, located in Andheri (West), Borivali (West), Santacruz (East), and Thane (West), will comprise over 1,035 units and approximately 12.67 lakh sq. ft. of construction area.
