Borja Jiménez appointed as new Cádiz CF head coach
Cádiz CF has officially appointed Borja Jiménez as the new head coach of the first team, succeeding Albert Celades. The 41-year-old manager returns to Spanish football following a brief tenure with Al-Ahli in the Qatar Stars League.
Jiménez, who has previously achieved promotions with Mirandés and Leganés, will be supported by technical assistants Alejandro Martínez and Sergio Vázquez. His arrival follows a difficult start to the LaLiga Hypermotion season, where the club has secured only seven points from ten matches.
Jiménez is expected to arrive in Cádiz this Friday, with his official presentation scheduled for Saturday at the JP Financial Estadio. Despite his recent ties to Al-Ahli, he has already begun participating in training sessions remotely to prepare the squad for their upcoming match against Ceuta.
