Borja Sémper addresses Spanish political and institutional challenges
During a summer conference in Puerto de Santa María, Borja Sémper of the People's Party (PP) addressed the current state of Spain, acknowledging the severity of issues ranging from housing access to international policy and institutional deterioration.
Sémper expressed a desire to unite Spaniards while simultaneously recognizing the need for urgent changes. He noted that political forces may react hostily to these shifts. Despite criticizing the government's impact on judicial independence, Sémper also cited Felipe González as a reference for statesmanship, a stance that presents a perceived ideological contradiction.
