Bad Bunny launches historic 10‑night residency in Madrid, drawing 64,000 fans per show

Puerto‑Rican star Bad Bunny opened a ten‑concert residency at Madrid’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano on 30 May. The inaugural show attracted about 64,000 attendees and featured a three‑hour set that blended reggaetón, salsa and Caribbean rhythms. Guest rapper Myke Towers performed the exclusive track “Adivino,” and the spectacle highlighted a replica Puerto Rican cottage, “La Casita,” used as a VIP stage.

Celebrity guests in La Casita included actresses Ester Expósito, Ana de Armas and María León, influencer Chiara Ferragni, footballers Isi Palazón, Sergio Camello and Kylian Mbappé, among others. Bad Bunny’s own remarks during the concert – “¡Benito, Benito!” – were met with enthusiastic chants from the crowd.

The residency marks a first for Latin‑music artists in Spain, with all ten dates sold out. Organisers estimate an economic boost of €150‑200 million for Madrid’s hospitality and tourism sectors. The tour also promotes Bad Bunny’s Grammy‑winning album “Debí tirar más fotos,” the first Spanish‑language album to win Record of the Year.
