Bork prepares for Schützenfest festival weekend

Preparations are underway for the Schützenfest in Bork, organized by the Bürgerschützengilde St. Stephanus. The event follows a recent kickoff featuring a general march with the current royal couple, Alexander I and Imke I.

A new tradition was introduced this year with the selection of a youth shooting king and queen. Karl I and Mathilda I were chosen after competing with crossbows to shoot at balloons.

Final preparations for the festival weekend include setting up the event tent, decorating with flowers, and organizing the bar. Tickets for the upcoming tent parties on Saturday and Monday are still available through local retailers.
