Bornholm tourism reaches record levels with increased business support

Destination Bornholm has reported a record year for 2025, characterized by rising support from the local tourism industry. The organization now has nearly 600 member companies contributing to the joint marketing of the island, including 40 new members joined in the past year.

Anders Wiberg, director of Destination Bornholm, noted that the organization benefits from strong local cooperation with the Bornholm Regional Municipality, Rønne Port, and Bornholmslinjen. He emphasized that tourism serves as a lever for the island's overall development, supporting jobs, increasing the customer base for local businesses, and improving infrastructure for transport, culture, and leisure.
