Bornova Municipality is showcasing its “Green, Digital, and Urban Transformation” vision at the 95th Izmir International Fair (IEF). The municipality's exhibition features technological and cultural investments designed to demonstrate the future of the district.
Key attractions at the stand include a Digital Experience Room featuring 3D digital twin applications of the city and models of hybrid Smart Poles for energy production. The display also includes a prototype of Turkey’s largest Urban Garden to highlight sustainable agriculture practices.
Cultural and urban transformation projects are represented through models of significant local landmarks, such as Abide-i Hürriyet Square, KKTC Park, and the Mescid-i Aksa Mosque in Sarnıç Village. Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated that the municipality aims to position Bornova as a leader in science, nature, and culture.
