Bornova Open-Air Cinema Draws Large Crowds in İzmir

The Bornova Municipality launched its Open‑Air Cinema Summer Animation Film Days with a free screening at the Evka‑4 Naim Süleymanoğlu Sports Complex. The opening film, "Otel Transilvanya 3," attracted many children and families who enjoyed the outdoor setting, popcorn and lemonade.

Mayor Ömer Eşki praised the strong turnout, saying the events bring neighborhood culture to life and give youngsters pleasant summer memories. The programme will continue throughout July, with screenings scheduled at various parks and squares across Bornova, each starting at 21:00.

Upcoming dates include July 16 at Pınarbaşı Çamlık Park, July 21 at Kavaklıdere market area, July 23 at Doğanlar market parking, July 28 at Çamdibi Atatürk Park amphitheater, and July 30 at Naldöken market square.
