On 24 June 2026 Borsa Istanbul activated its Volatility‑Based Measures (VBTS). Short‑selling and margin‑trade bans were placed on Borlease Otomotiv A.Ş. (BORLS) and Ditaş Doğan Yedek Parça İmalat ve Teknik A.Ş. (DITAS) from the start of the session on 24 June until the close of the session on 23 July 2026. Selçuk Ecza Deposu Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. Separate operational updates were also announced. Dividend‑related price adjustments were made for Servet Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı (SRVGY) and Ziraat Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı (ZRGYO). Additionally, the exchange revised the free‑float (FDPO) ratios of seven listed securities, including ENDA Enerji Holding, Europower Enerji, Girişim Elektrik Sanayi and others, effective 24 June.
Market‑opening data showed the BIST 100 index beginning the day higher, trading around 14,450–14,560 points, supported by easing global risk concerns, optimistic Middle‑East developments and expectations for upcoming US economic data.
