Borsa Open 2026 judo competition opens in Mostar

The Borsa Open 2026 international judo competition has officially opened at the Bijeli Brijeg sports hall in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event features over 1,100 competitors representing 27 countries.

Darijana Filipović, a newly elected member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, presided over the opening ceremony. She emphasized the importance of the tournament as a school of character, discipline, and mutual respect. Tomislav Vučić, Vice President of Judo Club Borsa, noted that the event includes participants from over 120 clubs, including a team from the United States for the first time.
