Borsalino Day returns to Alessandria for fifth edition

The fifth edition of Borsalino Day will take place on September 11 and 12 in Alessandria, Italy. Organized by the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria (AOU) of Alessandria, the event aims to highlight the Borsalino Rehabilitation Center as a hub for innovation, research, and community engagement.

On Friday, September 11, the program focuses on research within health professions. Key speakers from the University of Eastern Piedmont and the hospital's various departments will discuss organizational models and specific research experiences in respiratory, cardiac, and neuro-rehabilitation.

On Saturday, September 12, the center will open to the public with interactive thematic stations. Activities will include demonstrations of functional capacity testing, mobility aids, mindful breathing, metabolic walking, and Tai Chi. Additionally, visitors can tour the facility's church, designed by architect Ignazio Gardella.
