Borussia Dortmund and Águia de Marabá unveil heritage-themed kits

Borussia Dortmund has unveiled its primary kit for the 2026/27 season, featuring a design that honors the industrial roots of Dortmund. The kit incorporates visual elements inspired by steel and concrete, reflecting the region's heavy industry history. The design also commemorates the 40th anniversary of the closure of the Minister Stein mine and the centenary of the Dortmunder U in 2026.

In Brazil, Águia de Marabá has released a special jersey dedicated to the Círio de Nazaré festivities. The predominantly blue uniform includes gold details representing the crown of Our Lady of Nazareth, along with floral patterns and rope motifs associated with the religious procession. This release follows similar initiatives by other clubs, such as Remo, Paysandu, and Vasco, to integrate local religious traditions into their sporting identities.
