Borussia Dortmund bolsters U19 squad with new signings

Borussia Dortmund has bolstered its U19 squad with two new signings. The club has secured 17-year-old offensive winger Amine Lettifi from the French club US Lesquin. NLZ Sports Director Thomas Broich noted that Lettifi was scouted from the French provinces and highlighted the player's determination in carving out a path outside of major academies.

Additionally, 16-year-old Croatian defender Liam Kante is receiving significant praise following his performance in the derby against Schalke 04. U19 coach Felix Hirschnagl described Kante's defensive capabilities using an octopus metaphor, citing his long reach and ability to recover even when opponents appear to have bypassed him. Standing at 1.90 meters, Kante is noted for his strength in both ground duels and aerial play.
