Borussia Dortmund considers new striking duo after Champions League win

Silva, who previously faced rumors of departure from the club, has emerged as a key player, contributing three goals and one assist in his first four competitive matches of the season.

Following the match, Dortmund manager Niko Kovac indicated that the team's success with two strikers may lead to tactical shifts. Kovac noted the flexibility provided by the duo, suggesting the club might alternate between a 3-4-3 and a 3-5-2 formation to utilize both Guirassy and Silva as a central striking partnership. Silva expressed that playing alongside Guirassy allows the pair to create more space and scoring opportunities.
