Borussia Dortmund eyes Polish midfielder Marcel Reguła

German club Borussia Dortmund has sent scouting chief Bastian Schulz to Warsaw to watch 19‑year‑old midfielder Marcel Reguła during Zagłębie Lubin’s Ekstraklasa match against Legia Warsaw. Reguła, a regular for Poland’s U21 side, recorded 7 goals and 5 assists in 32 league appearances this season and logged ten scorer points (5 goals, 5 assists) in 31 games overall.

The club’s interest is confirmed by both Polish and German media, and Dortmund is not the only suitor – clubs from the top‑five European leagues, a Danish side and a strong second‑division team are also monitoring the player. Zagłębie Lubin president Paweł Jeż said a transfer would only proceed if the offer is attractive for both the club and the player, noting that a sale could set a record for the Polish side.
