Borussia Dortmund eyes summer squad shake‑up as Guirassy and four players linked with transfers
Borussia Dortmund is reported to be preparing for a major squad overhaul this summer. Striker Serhou Guirassy, who is under contract until 2028, has attracted interest from Turkish side Fenerbahçe and English Premier League club Aston Villa. The club said it has not received a formal offer and would only consider a bid exceeding €40 million, citing a release clause that does not apply to the two suitors.
In addition, Dortmund is expected to let go of four young players – goalkeeper Diant Ramaj, winger Julien Duranville, forward Cole Campbell and midfielder Kjell Wätjen – who are deemed surplus to requirements. Potential destinations include Hoffenheim for Campbell and other interested clubs for the remaining three.
Club sporting director Ole Book confirmed that Dortmund aims to retain control over future transfer fees, with options for buy‑back clauses or profit‑sharing.
