Borussia Dortmund considers winter transfers to bolster squad depth

Borussia Dortmund Sport Director Ole Book has addressed concerns regarding the club’s squad depth, specifically noting a lack of options in the full-back positions. Book indicated that while the current roster can cover these roles periodically, the club may look to make transfers during the winter window, potentially contingent on player departures.

In player news, 18-year-old Konstantinos Karetsas is expected to return to training and is available for the upcoming Bundesliga match against VfB Stuttgart. Karetsas is recovering after a recent circulatory collapse during a Champions League match against Villarreal, which required him to be taken from the pitch on a stretcher. Coach Niko Kovac confirmed that the player is doing well and has returned to full team training.
