Borussia Dortmund pursues Marcel Regula transfer

Borussia Dortmund is reportedly continuing its pursuit of 19-year-old Polish midfielder Marcel Regula from Zagłębie Lubin. Interest in the player remains high following a failed attempt to secure his transfer last summer, which reportedly involved a potential fee of approximately 7.5 million euros.

Zlatan Alomerović, a former Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper currently playing alongside Regula at Zagłębie Lubin, has expressed support for the young talent's potential move to Germany. Alomerović stated that he would assist his teammate with the transition, including helping him find accommodation in Germany once concrete offers are made.

Recent reports indicate that Dortmund's sporting director Ole Book and chief scout David Blacha have met with Regula's representatives. Zagłębie Lubin is expected to seek a transfer fee in the range of seven to eight million euros for the player, whose contract runs until June 2028.
