Borussia Dortmund reports Q1 2026/2027 preliminary financial results

Borussia Dortmund has released preliminary financial figures for the first quarter of the 2026/2027 fiscal year, showing a slight increase in group revenue to EUR 107.4 million, compared to EUR 107.0 million in the same quarter of the previous year.

Despite the revenue growth, the group net result decreased to EUR 11.9 million, down from EUR 22.9 million in the prior year. This decline is primarily attributed to a lower profit from transfer activities, which totaled EUR 19.9 million this quarter compared to EUR 52.9 million in the previous year.

Other key financial metrics include an EBITDA of EUR 40.4 million, down from EUR 54.3 million, and earnings before tax (EBT) of EUR 14.0 million, compared to EUR 25.6 million in the previous year. The club maintained its annual group result forecast of EUR 0 million to EUR 10 million.
