Borussia Dortmund overcomes 2-0 deficit to beat Hoffenheim 3-2

Borussia Dortmund secured a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against TSG Hoffenheim in the second matchday of the Bundesliga. After trailing 2-0 following goals from Leon Avdullahu and Tim Lemperle, Dortmund responded with three unanswered goals. Serhou Guirassy initiated the comeback in the 61st minute, followed by an equalizer from Fabio Silva in the 66th minute. The win was sealed in the 87th minute via an own goal by Albian Hajdari.

Under coach Niko Kovac, Dortmund has now won its first two matches of the season. Kovac also reached a personal milestone, accumulating 107 points in his first 50 matches leading the club.

Other notable Bundesliga results included Bayer Leverkusen’s dominant 4-0 win over Union Berlin, Werder Bremen’s 3-0 victory against RB Leipzig, and Elversberg’s high-scoring 4-3 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.
