Borussia Dortmund targets Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani

Reports suggest Borussia Dortmund is close to securing the signing of 23‑year‑old Kosovar forward Fisnik Asllani from TSG Hoffenheim. A Kosovo‑based journalist claimed the club has already signed a contract, though no German media have confirmed the deal. Asllani, who is under contract with Hoffenheim until 2029, carries a release clause estimated between €25‑30 million.

In the 2023‑24 season he made 35 Bundesliga appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists, helping Hoffenheim qualify for the Europa League. Dortmund view him as a potential replacement for forwards Serhou Guirassy or Karim Adeyemi, and sport director Ole Book has monitored the player since his spell at SV Elversberg. Other clubs, including RB Leipzig and FC Barcelona, are also reported to be interested, but nothing has been officially announced.
