Borussia Düsseldorf talents win medals at Para Future tournament

Young para-table tennis talents from Borussia Düsseldorf achieved success at the international Para Future tournament held in Lahti, Finland.

Maike Bannuscher, the reigning youth European champion, secured a silver medal in the W8 category. After facing American opponent Zu Mingyu in the group stages, Bannuscher advanced through the bracket to the final, where she ultimately lost 0-3 in sets.

In the M9-10 category, Jonas Wand earned a bronze medal following a strong performance throughout the tournament. The Para Future series is designed to provide young athletes with international competitive experience against various playing styles from outside Europe.
