Boryeong City launches facilitator training for senior officials
Boryeong City is conducting facilitator training for 105 senior officials and team leaders to foster a culture of participation and consensus within the organization. The program, held from the 26th to the 28th at the Boryeong City Hall, aims to move away from one-way communication toward a model where diverse opinions are systematically organized to facilitate discussion and agreement.
The training focuses on practical skills rather than theoretical lectures, emphasizing presentation, active listening, opinion structuring, and consensus building through repeated practice and peer feedback. Participants will undergo a written examination at the end of the course to obtain certification.
Mayor Eom Seung-yong stated that listening to diverse opinions and gathering collective wisdom is essential for responding to complex administrative demands. The city plans to utilize certified personnel to lead departmental meetings, policy discussions, and workshops to spread these communication competencies throughout the administration.
