Bos Ter Kerst to host guided twilight nature walk

Natuurpunt Kern Hooglede-Gits and Gezinsbond are organizing a twilight walk through the Bos Ter Kerst nature reserve in Hooglede on October 3. The event begins at 18:30 and covers a distance of 2.6 km.

Guided by experts using bat detectors, participants will observe the nocturnal activities of bats, owls, and moths. The tour includes examining a light trap to identify various species of moths and insects. Due to the nature of the activity, pets are not permitted, and sturdy footwear and warm clothing are recommended.
