Bosch and Makita release new cordless power tools

Bosch and Makita have introduced new cordless power tools for the consumer and professional markets.

Bosch has released the PSR 18 LI-2 Ergonomic, an 18V cordless drill/driver designed for home and garden use. Part of the POWER FOR ALL 18V platform, the device features a 2.5 Ah lithium-ion battery, a 2-speed gearbox, and a maximum torque of 32 Nm in hard applications. It is capable of drilling up to 38 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel, weighing approximately 1.1 to 1.2 kg.

Makita has launched two new 18V impact wrench models, the DTW210RFJ and the DTW210Z. Both models provide a maximum tightening torque of 250 Nm and a loosening torque of up to 400 Nm. The DTW210RFJ is sold as a complete kit including two batteries and a fast charger, while the DTW210Z is sold as a bare tool for users who already own compatible 18V batteries. The tools feature an LED light, an electronic brake, and a 1/2-inch square drive.
