Bosch and Riese & Müller drive e-bike innovation

The electric bicycle industry is seeing significant developments in hardware and product diversification. Bosch is addressing increased competition from Chinese manufacturers by emphasizing the specific advantages of its mid-motor drive systems for modern e-mountain bikes.

Riese & Müller has announced the Veya series, a versatile e-bike lineup scheduled for a 2027 release. The series includes various configurations such as the Veya light, Veya vario, Veya silent, and the Veya touring HS S-Pedelec. These models offer different Bosch motor options, ranging from the compact Performance Line SX to the powerful Performance Line CX, and can be configured for commuting, touring, or urban use.

Additionally, Rose is introducing a new lightweight hardtail mountain bike designed to balance cross-country efficiency with downhill playfulness. Meanwhile, the apparel specialist Vaude is highlighting the emerging trend of ‘enduro bikepacking’ on mountain bikes.
