Bosch and Schindler launch professional training programs in Portugal
Major corporations Bosch and Schindler have launched professional development and training programs in Portugal to bolster their local workforces.
Bosch has opened applications for the 2027 edition of its 'Boost' career acceleration program. Aimed at professionals and recent graduates with up to five years of experience in fields such as Engineering, IT, and Management, the 24-month program involves four six-month rotations in different roles and locations, including at least one international assignment. The initiative is part of the Bosch Group's People Strategy 2030.
Schindler has introduced the 'Schindler Campus' in Portugal to address specialized labor shortages in the vertical mobility sector. The program offers 11 vacancies across Lisbon, Coimbra, and Faro for individuals with backgrounds in electricity, electronics, or mechanics. The training includes 500 hours of theoretical and practical instruction, including intensive sessions in Zaragoza, Spain, followed by paid internships intended to lead to permanent employment.
