Boscon Visa wins Ruunaruhtinas race in Ylivieska

Boscon Visa, trained by Paavo Reponen and driven by Iikka Nurmonen, won the redesigned Ruunaruhtinas competition in Ylivieska on Saturday. Despite starting from a 20-meter disadvantage, the horse took the lead on the first straight and maintained a dominant gap through the finish line in the 2,600-meter race.

Driver Iikka Nurmonen had a highly successful day, securing five victories in total, including both main races. Trainer Paavo Reponen described the win as the greatest achievement of his career.

In other notable results, the high-earning Finnhorse Morison finished second after climbing from the furthest starting position. Additionally, Adele Eastwind, trained by Tapio Perttunen, held the lead throughout its race, and Eija Sorvisto secured a Toto75 win with Ptolemaeus Boko.
