Boseong County reforms event protocols and launches integrity training
Boseong County has announced a comprehensive revision of its 2026 protocol and event operation guidelines. The new measures aim to reduce excessive formalities, such as lengthy congratulatory speeches and repetitive guest introductions, to focus more on the actual purpose of events and resident participation. Under the new rules, guest introductions will be simplified using LED displays where available, and the number of speakers will be limited to two or three people with time constraints of one to two minutes each.
In a separate effort to promote administrative transparency, the county held its first ‘Integrity Olympics’ for all employees. Moving away from traditional lecture-based training, the program utilized OX quizzes and multi-sport competitions to educate staff on anti-corruption laws, including the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act. This initiative follows Boseong County’s achievement of maintaining a first-grade rating in the national public institution integrity assessment for four consecutive years.
