Bosilovo hosts fifth annual Ajverijada festival

The fifth annual ‘Ajverijada’ festival was held in Bosilovo to promote red pepper specialties and the traditional home preparation of ajvar. During the event, approximately 400 kilograms of ajvar were prepared.

Mayor Risto Manchev expressed gratitude to the local women involved in the large-scale organization. In addition to ajvar, attendees could taste lutenica, malidzano, and other pepper-based products, alongside honey and pottery. The festival, held at the ‘Goce Delchev’ school sports field, included cultural performances by singers and artistic groups. It was organized under the auspices of the Bosilovo Municipality and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy.
