Bosisio Parini awarded 210,000 euros for school roof repairs

The Municipality of Bosisio Parini has been awarded a 210,000 euro non-repayable grant from the Ministry of Education and Merit to perform urgent repairs on the roof of a local kindergarten located on via San Giuseppe 2.

The funding will cover 100% of the costs, ensuring no financial burden on the municipal budget. The school's current roof dates back to the 1980s and has developed structural issues. Bosisio Parini ranked first among only eight projects selected for such funding across Italy.

Mayor Paolo Gilardi stated that while the ministerial decree imposes strict deadlines—requiring works to be completed and accounted for within six months—the administration will coordinate closely with school leadership to ensure construction does not disrupt educational activities.
